Description
1. Reinforced Hair Dryer Mount:
- Infill of 50%
- No Supports
- 6 perimeter shell layers
- I recommend getting some sticky felt and adding it to the top of the whole mount along with the interior side and bottom of the small arm to prevent scratches and scuffing.
- Mount to the wall with double sided sticky strips.
- I've also created a remix for mounting with screws.
This design is based on DerDerIchBin's https://www.printables.com/model/299793-dyson-hairdryer-wall-mount and includes a slight improvement to add room for the controls so you don't scrape the paint off the buttons if you lift the hair dryer up to remove it from the holster.
2. Heavy Duty Magnetic Accessory Mount:
- You'll need 5mmx10mm cylindrical magnets like these ones here: https://a.co/d/j6DbEmO
- 6 magnets per mount for heavier accessories like the diffuser, you can probably get away with fewer for the smaller and lighter accessories.
- Infill of 15%
- No Supports
- Pause the print about 80% of the way so that you can drop in the magnets. (Or use the included .3mf file which has the pause already set.)
- Important! - Make sure the magnets are all oriented the same way. I found that one side of these magnets was slightly stronger than the other but if you can't figure that out then at least make sure the magnetic poles are all in the same direction. This drastically improves the stability of the mount.
- Mount to the wall with double sided sticky strips
This design is based on steve5092's https://www.printables.com/model/89744-wall-mounted-holder-for-dyson-hair-dryer-dyson-sup For the last version of the mounts you'll need to complete this set, I found that Steve's dyson_hairdryer_set_wall_seat_1.stl was satisfactory. I've included it in the file set without remixing. You will also need at least 3 magnets for this print.
3. Upright Tall Accessory Mount:
- Infill of 20%
- No Supports
- Brim recommended to keep the edges from warping.
- Important! - When mounting there is a specific orientation you'll need to follow. One side of the mount has a circular cut out to allow the accessory to sit flat while the other has a ramp for better stability. The easiest way to orient it correctly is to put your accessory into the mount, it should sit flush and level. If it's tilted at an angle and has a gap underneath, flip the mount over and try the other side.

Differences of the remix compared to the original
A few quality of life upgrades including:
- A modified hairdryer holder with room for the controls so you don't scrape the paint off the buttons if you lift the hair dryer up to remove it from the holster.
- A new vertical mount for taller accessories like the wide tooth comb.
- A stronger, improved design for mounting the larger accessories like the diffuser which did not magnetically set securely enough in the original model. This includes adding more magnets, making smaller magnet cavities for more snug seating, and location adjustment to better align with the magnetic strip on the accessories.
